Anchored list dropdown
A narrow list directly under the button. It is only as wide as its longest item and moves along when you go to another button.
- When it fitsFewer than ten items, and menus that are not the most important on the page.
- PitfallsAbove ten items the list gets hard to scan. Without descriptions the names have to explain themselves.
- How to make it betterLet the panel grow from the corner of the button, and write group headings that help the choice.
