The name is drawn by thousands of dots. They give way to the pointer like sand to a hand and find their way back. A click blows it all apart, and it gathers again.
- Drawn by the textThe dots are placed by drawing the word invisibly and taking one pixel in every four or five, so the shape always matches the typeface.
- Every dot has a springEach dot is pulled towards its place and pushed away from the pointer, and fast dots change colour, so you can see the motion.
- Cheap enoughThousands of dots are computed and drawn on a single canvas in under a millisecond per frame.
