The cloth
The footer is a piece of cloth hanging from a rod. Stroke your hand across it and it ripples. Grab a corner and pull.
- A net of pointsThe cloth is 34 × 18 points tied together with sticks and computed with Verlet integration, as in games.
- Folds have shadowWhere the cloth is compressed it darkens, so the folds show without 3D lighting.
- Drawn in WebGLThe text is a texture that follows the net, so the letters stretch and fold with the cloth.
