Bar study: Type
The whole bar is a search field without a field. Click the page and type, for example rev, dev or pap: the matching letters take ink, the best match is completed in gray and the dot flies to its section. Enter goes there and Escape clears.
A command line without a field, with fuzzy matching
- WhyThe fastest way for people who know what they want. There is no search button, because the whole bar is the field.
- RiskIt must not catch keys typed in a form field. Space still scrolls the page when nothing is typed.
- MatchingFuzzy matching, with a bonus for the start of a word and for letters in a row.
